BOSS , Howard Wilson Ross

Passed away peacefully at Sunset Cove Retirement Residence on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of June Ross (née Miller, formerly Eamer). Howard will be deeply missed by his stepchildren: Bradley Eamer (Debbie), Larry Eamer (Linda), and Alana Tucker (Dave); and by his cherished step-grandchildren: Clayton, Jessica (Jay), Brittany, Andrew (Dianna), Julia (Matt), and Allison (Walter).

Howard brought great joy to our family when he joined our lives, sweeping our mother into a new chapter of travel and adventure. Together, they explored the world—from Europe to Alaska on tours and cruises—and built a beautiful home in Riverdale that became a cherished place for family gatherings. As time passed, they transitioned to assisted living, surrounded by love and support.

Howard was the son of the late Donald and Erma Ross, and was predeceased by his first wife Cecile, his brothers Floyd and Donnie, and his sisters Donalda Hollister, Lillian Moss, and Grace Bowman.

A dedicated long-time employee of Pfizer in Montreal, Howard will be remembered for his warmth, devotion to family, and quiet strength.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Riverdale Terrace, and more recently at Sunset Cove, for their compassionate care and support.

Visitation and funeral arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, 540 Cumberland Street, Cornwall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
