BOUGHNER, Audrie Boughner

Passed away peacefully at VON-Sakura House on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 in her 86th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, James “Art” Boughner (2015) and cherished daughter Deborah Lynn Slaght (2017). Loving mother of James (Laurie) Boughner, Sheila (Mike) VanderGulik, Tammy (Ed) Boughner and son-in-law Clarence Slaght. Cherished grandmother of David (Andrea) Slaght, Christopher Slaght (Anna), Gary (Ashley) Slaght, Steven (Lisa) VanderGulik, Stacey VanderGulik, Nicholas Krizmonics and Logan Krizmonics. Loving great-grandmother of Autumn, Cassidy, Andreu, Kendra, Paige, Leah, Mea, Ashlynne and Ryland. Great great grandmother to Daniel. Sadly, missed by her brothers; Albert (Eileen) Wardle, Fred (Mary) Wardle and her brother-in-law Gary (Cathy) Boughner. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Madeliene Wardle, brother Paul Wardle. Audrie was a lifelong member of the Cornell Women’s Institute, Springford Baptist Church and was a longtime leader of the 4H club of Cornell.  Also she was a longtime member of the Ladies Mission Circle. The family welcome everyone to a visitation that will be held at the Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg, (519) 842-5221 on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Audrie will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Lola Mather-Dyer and Pastor Craig Stephens officiating.
