It is with profound sadness we share the passing of Sharon Boyd, who left us on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 68. After a brief battle with cancer, Sharon passed away peacefully at The Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc, Ontario.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kerry (Will), grandsons Taylor and Zakk, her brother Doug (Nona), nephews Brian (Pilar) and Travis, niece Marie, great nephew Brandon, and great niece Ayla. Sharon is also fondly remembered by her dear companion and Kerry’s father, Bill.

Predeceased by her parents Howard and Christine Boyd, brothers Bob and Scott Boyd, and nephew Kevin Boyd, Sharon was born in Barrie and raised in Oshawa. She had a passion for dog shows, Girl Guides, and dedicated years working for Taxi Taxi before retiring to Havelock with her daughter’s family.

Known for her heart of gold, Sharon was always helping others. She loved to crochet, and her handcrafted blankets will remain treasured keepsakes for generations.

A private burial service will be held at a later date at Bayview Cemetery in Wiarton, Ontario. Memorial donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to the Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc.
