Muriel Verona Winger Bradt

January 16, 1931 – February 28, 2025

Muriel passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the age of 94.
A resident of Port Dover and formerly of Delhi, she was born in Leamington, Mercy Township, Ontario,
daughter of the late George Bradt and the late Letha (Taylor) Bradt.

Muriel was an avid gardener who took great pride in her annual gardens and had great love for her family.
She was the beloved wife of 63 wonderful years to the late Walter Winger, a retired OPP officer in Norfolk,
who predeceased her on June 6, 2012.

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Paul (Linda), Tim, and Pamela (Toby Miller).
Proud and loving grandmother of Jay, Christopher, Melissa, Sarah, and Sean,
and great-grandmother of Liam, Chelsea, Monique, Maia, Alex, Callie, Amos, Archer, and Hunter.

She is survived by her sisters Viola Partington (late Donald) and Marilyn Anderson (late Harry),
as well as brothers-in-law John Roloson (late Audrey) and Wayne Scruton (late Cora).

Muriel is predeceased by her siblings Juanita (late Marvin Smyth), Leonard John Bradt (late Vera),
Andrew “Andy” Bradt (late Leone), Charles Bradt (late Louise), Georgia (late Glen Manchester), and Jim Bradt.

Visitation:
Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg.

Funeral Service:
Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Tillsonburg,
officiated by Pastor Troy Van Ginkel of Bayham United Church, Straffordville.

Interment:
St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna, followed by a reception at Bayham United Church, Straffordville.

Donations in Muriel’s memory may be made to the Juravinski Centre, Hamilton
or Campfire Circle, Waterford through

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Verhoeve Funeral Homes.
