BRAIDO , Deborah “Debbie” Braido

In loving memory of Debbie Braido, a devoted wife, cherished mother, grandmother, and compassionate nurse whose warmth and kindness touched countless lives. Born on September 17, 1954, Debbie served as a Registered Nurse for 40 years at Sault Area Hospital, specializing in obstetrics and renal dialysis, where she was admired for her dedication and genuine care for her patients.

Debbie was the beloved wife of Mike, sharing 48 years of marriage built on love, respect, and unwavering support. She was a proud mother to Mike and Jeff, and a loving grandmother to Mikaila, Paxton, Nylah, and Jordan. She adored her daughters-in-law, Karen and Sarah, and treasured the close bond she shared with her family, friends, and the many people she met throughout her life and travels.

Her deep affection for the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico, reflected her adventurous spirit and joy for life. She cherished the friendships and experiences she gained there, calling it her second home. Debbie was also known as “Queenie,” a title given to her by her mother, and she truly lived a life fit for one — filled with laughter, sunshine, and unforgettable adventures.

Debbie is survived by her brother Randy Errington, sisters Cathy Errington (Rob Manes) and Cindy Parsons (late Mike), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Donna Errington, and parents-in-law Anja and Skeets Braido.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Machine Shop on Monday, August 18, 2025. The ceremony on the mezzanine begins at 3:00 p.m., followed by a gathering in the main hall until 7:00 p.m. Her ashes will be scattered in the waters near Isla Mujeres, joining the dolphins she loved so dearly.

In lieu of donations, Debbie requested that everyone honor her memory by being kind, generous, and offering time to someone in need.
