BRETHOUR, June Marie Brethour

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, June Brethour on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Port Perry Hospital. June (nee Lotton), was predeceased by her husband Leslie Brethour.  Dearly loved mother of Bonnie Teefy (Tom), Gary (Jackie), Jim (Annemarie), and Bill (Miriam). Proud Gramma of Brian Teefy (Erica), Chris Gross (Matt), Jaime, Jeff (Lainey), Kelsey Croxall (David), Joshua (Jocelyn), Dylan (Kelsey), Cory, Matthew (Jessica), Ryan (Meg), and Kara (Ben). Great Nanny to Leona, Pearson, Colton, Knox, Radek, Kira, Bronson, Jayden, June, Noelle, Daphne, Violet, Sophia and Zoe. June is survived by her brothers Ken (Shirley) and Don and she was predeceased by her brother Blake (Dorothy) and her sister Margaret Bickle (Ted).

A special thank you to the staff at Westshore Village and to Dr. Rafikov and the nursing staff at the Port Perry Hospital for their kindness and incredible care. In keeping with Mum’s wishes, no service will be held. A private family interment will take place at the Sunderland Cemetery.
