PETRIE, Brian Ernest Petrie

PETRIE, Brian Ernest    –  It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Brian, in his 78th year, on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Trillium Mississauga Hospital.

Loving husband to Judy Wallace; loving father to Russell (April); stepfather to Greg (Tracy); and grandpa to Ethan, Jarred, Sydnie, Mackenzie, Caitlyn and Evan.

Survived by his brother, Wayne (Joan), and their family.

He will also be remembered by Christopher (Anindita) and their family.

Brian was a successful insurance broker in Etobicoke. Brian will be fondly remembered by the many friends he made through his love of curling and golf.

Most important to Brian was his friendship with The Rusty Monks curling team and his 50 years of participating in the Quebec International Bonspiel.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Canadian Lung Association or Parkinson’s Canada would be appreciated by the family .
