Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Beloved partner of Mary Hargrove for over 37years . Cherished father of Mark (Jennifer) and Barbara McIntosh (Mike). Loving stepfather to Tammy, Billy, and Rodney. Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his twin brother, Glen. Guy will also be deeply missed by his loyal dog and best friend, Sammy.

Born and raised on the East Coast in New Brunswick, Guy was a proud truck driver who spent many years on the road, driving cross-country and working with Mackie’s Transportation. Even after retirement, he occasionally returned to long-distance driving—something he truly loved.

Guy was the life of the party—always surrounded by music, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends. He loved to play the guitar, host get-togethers, and fill every room with joy.

His faith in the Lord was a guiding light in his life and in his heart.

Some of his fondest memories were made during trips back East to New Brunswick, sharing adventures with his children and grandchildren—whether it was four-wheeling, spending time at the summer camp, or simply enjoying the holidays together.

Guy had a generous spirit, a love for people, and an outgoing nature that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His vibrant presence will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
