
Louisa Ann “Lou Ann” Brooks of Teeswater, passed away after a brief illness at Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, December 13th, 2024, in her 70th year.
Loving and devoted mother of William “Will” Brooks (Melissa). Missed by her grandchildren, Alyssa, Donevin, Zack and Madilyn. Fondly remembered by her sister Evelynne Kloostra, nephews Michael, David, Darryl, and Gerald, niece Sherri, and their families.
Predeceased by her parents, Mathew and Beatrice (née Thompson) Brooks and partner John Stead.
Lou Ann took great pride in her career as a school bus driver, transporting hundreds of local students to and from schools in Teeswater and Wingham over 35 years with Joe King and Montgomery Bus Lines. She was also a loyal and dedicated employee of Buddsteel, where she will be deeply missed by her fellow co-workers.
A celebration of Lou Ann’s life will be held at the Teeswater Town Hall on Saturday, June 14th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Her final resting place is Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
