BROUGHTON, Carol Christina Broughton

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Carol Christina Broughton (Lamb) on April 2, 2026 in her 84th year. She is predeceased by her loving husband Darrell Broughton (2004) and her cherished son Todd (1994). She will be forever remembered by her surviving daughters Lori (Mark) Hamilton and Kelly (Cory) Brain. Grandma will be lovingly remembered and missed by her grandchildren Brooke, Tyler (Olivia), Paige (Nick) and Matthew, Katie.

Carol Christina Broughton was the 10th of 10 children and predeceased by all of her siblings, Carl, Mervin, Marjorie, Garnet, Rita, Ted, Grace, Freda, and Eileen, but will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol will be missed by her Nursing Reunion group, neighbours, and many friends.

The family would like to extend many thanks to the staff and nurses of Anson Place in Hagersville and The Meadows in Ancaster for years of care and compassion for our Mom during her journey with Alzheimer’s.

Memorial donations may be made to the WHGH Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, or a charity of your choice.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia (905-765-2712). In accordance with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
