BROWN, Bruce Brown

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Bruce passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with his three sisters and family at his side. Bruce was 72.

Beloved son of the late George & Jean Brown.

Dear brother of Bob (Julie), Ann Chateauvert (Greg), Cathi Muldoon (Pat) and Nancy Glofcheski (Gerard). Predeceased by brothers Jim (Eileen) and Donnie (Brenda).

Known by many nieces and nephews as the “Fun Uncle”, Bruce brought light, mischief and unconditional love into their lives. Whether it was providing a full size chocolate bar, pulling a silver dollar out of an unsuspecting ear or telling jokes and stories with humour only he could pull off. He made their lives joyful.

Bruce also had a deep love for horses. A bond that was as natural to him as his ability to connect with people. From fairs and competition to quiet mornings at the barn, he found peace, purpose and freedom in the company of his four legged companions.

Bruce’s family extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. To the nurses whom he loved to tease and banter with, thank you for the smiles and chuckles you gave him every day.

Bruce’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

A private graveside service will take place at the Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior.
