BROWN, Gary Charles Brown

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the unexpected passing of Gary Charles Brown of West Lorne on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Aaron (Amie), Carla (Brandon), and his partner, Maria. Gary was a cherished grandfather to Matthew, Owen, and Nicholas, as well as to his extended grandchildren Hayden, Willow, Aubrie, and Orin.

He is survived by his older brother Bob (Shirley), sister Bonnie, nephew Chris, and nieces Rhonda and Dana. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Elizabeth (née Bell) Brown, and his brother Harley.

Gary was an enthusiastic sports fan, faithfully supporting the London Knights and the Cleveland Guardians. He was well known in West Lorne for riding his bike everywhere.

Above all, Gary deeply valued his family and took immense joy in encouraging his grandchildren and grandnephew in their sports and hobbies.

Visitation will be held at Arn Funeral Home, 212 Furnival Rd., Rodney, on Monday, June 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A time of reflection will take place at 7:00 pm where all are welcome to share stories and memories.

Cremation has taken place. Donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the West Lorne Minor Hockey Association via treasurer@westlornecomets.com.
