BROWN, Gary N. Brown
April 7, 1953 - November 9, 2025
Passed away suddenly at Uxbridge Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 72 years. Loved and missed by his wife Heather (nee Millar), Dad will always be loved and remembered by his son Nicholas (Tina) and his daughter Danielle (Ben). Adored Papa of Ryleigh and lovingly thought of by Nicholas (Hailey) and Christopher. Gary will also be fondly remembered by Danielle’s dogs, Ave and Etta, who brought him endless joy and cozy snuggles.
Forever missed, loved and cherished by his siblings, Ron (predeceased), Barb (predeceased; Frank (predeceased), Neil (Bev), Danny (Tracey), Tammy (Jim), Candy and Marty.
Gary thought the world of Heather’s brothers, Tom (predeceased), Harold (predeceased), Lionel, Walt, and Gord (Phyllis). Gary also held a special place in his heart for Heather’s sister, Joanne (Jim predeceased). He was always there to pick Joanne up at airport whenever she needed – and even when she didn’t.
Gary will be deeply missed by all his cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and nephews as well as his many friends and neighbours who shared countless laughs and stories with him over the years.
Gary was known for his caring personality, sense of humour, and gift for conversation — a trait that earned him the nickname “Gabby.” Whether it was a quick chat with friends at the cottage or one of his many jokes that left people smiling, Gary had a way of making everyone feel welcome.
Gary never stopped working — it was simply part of who he was. He started playing hockey at 38, proving it’s never too late to jump on the ice. He loved to golf, ride his Harley, and spend time at the cottage with family, good neighbours and great friends. He also enjoyed early mornings at Tim Hortons, sharing coffee and conversation while “solving the world’s problems” one cup at a time.
Gary’s laughter, smile, warmth, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He brightened the lives of many and has left all of us with many special memories.
Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge Chapel. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 170, 109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00PM.
