BROWN, Linda Brown

Passed away peacefully at Chapman House on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Born in Owen Sound on November 11, 1950, Linda Marie Karen Brown of Owen Sound was in her 76th year.

Loving mother of Scott Murphy (Alana) of Southampton and Penny Murphy (Rob Juniper) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandma of Declan, Jamison, Alex and Zach. Dear sister of Gordon Brown (Nancy) of Chatsworth, Keith Brown (Kathy) of Tara, Ruby Brown-Beaulieu (Marc) of Chatsworth, Kenneth Brown of Owen Sound and Shirley Nelson (Duane Thornley) of Tara. Sister-in-law of Debbie Brown of Chesley. Linda will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Morgan and Vera Brown, and by her brother Allan Brown.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, cremation is taking place. A celebration of life will be held at Harrison Park Community Centre, 75 2nd Ave. E., Owen Sound, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to invite guests to bring stories of Linda that they can read or have somebody read for them.
