Peacefully passed away at the FJ Davey Home on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the age of 92. After 45 years, she is now reunited with her beloved husband Emilio.

Cherished mother of Frank (Eva) and Jimmy. Proud Nonna of Amy Bruni-Orr (Chris) and Kimberly McPhee (Kevin). Great Nonna of Emma, Jake, and Sara.

Predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Francesca Giunti. Sister of the late Antonio Giunti (late Carmela), late Giovanni Giunti (late Angela), late Fiorenzo Giunti (late Eva), late Eugenia Coccimiglio (late Francesco), Ermenia Coccimiglio (late Vittorio), late Anne Coccimiglio (late Antonio) and the late Eugenia Giunti.

She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and loved ones.

At Amelia’s request, a private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District would be greatly appreciated.

Special thanks to Doctors Ianni and Fritz, NP Sandra Ann Coutu, Nurses Tracey, Pam, Alicia and Ann, and PSW Tracey for the care and compassion given to Mom and our family. Deep gratitude also goes to the other PSWs and the FJ Davey Home staff on the 1st and 3rd Floor Apple Orchard and 3rd Floor Driftwood units.
