BUCHANAN, Donald John Buchanan

With sadness, the family of Donald John Buchanan announce his passing at Bluewater Healthcare, Sarnia, Ontario on Jan. 18th at the age of 90.

Don, the oldest son of Eugene and Evelyn, is survived by his partner, Grace Nagy; his children Scott (Trudy) Buchanan, Pam (Troy) Fleming; 6 grandchildren—Jade, Caden, Peyton, Layne, and Shay Fleming, Brett Buchanan; his sisters Dorothy (late Nick) Dahm and Ilene (Roy) Buchanan Vardy.

Predeceased by his son Mark, his brother Norman, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Nick, nephew-in-law Randy, and first wife Gayle.

Also missed by his nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephew.

The family would especially like to acknowledge his niece Janice and nephew David for their help and support during the last steps of Don’s journey.

Also special to Don were the neighbour “boys” Cal and Mark Fuller, Dave and Doug Stutt.

We would also be remiss if we didn’t mention how much Don cared for Smokey, his “chubby dachshund.”

At Don’s direction, following Don’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or celebration of life; cremation has taken place with burial in Beechwood Cemetery at a later date.
