BUDYNSKI, Darryl Wayne Budynski

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of DARRYL WAYNE BUDYNSKI on Wednesday February 4th, 2026, with the love of his family surrounding him.

Darryl will be deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife of 35 years, Michaela, and missed and loved beyond measure by their children Malyna (Dustin) and Joshua (Nicole).  He will be lovingly remembered by his cherished grandsons, Hudson, Cooper, Felix and Theodore.

Darryl was predeceased by his father, Orval (Bud), and is survived by his loving mother, Rose, who will have a deep void in her family.  He will be forever missed and treasured by his siblings, Linda (George), Brian, Sherry (Dean) and Charlene (Domenic).  Darryl was also predeceased by his mother-in-law Barbara (Hall) Lovell and will be fondly remembered by father-in-law John Lovell, sister-in-law Caroline Seyedi, brother-in-law André Lovell and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He will also be missed by his loyal feline companion, Patches.

Darryl was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle who lived for his family. He cared and loved his family with all his heart.

Darryl was extremely creative and gifted.  He was a craftsman, with the ability to visualize, create and master multiple trades.  Darryl shared this gift with family and friends and was always there to help.

He had an avid love for the outdoors. Darryl found happiness in snowmobiling and spending time at Charleston Lake. He found tranquility tending to his koi fish, a pastime that reflected his patience and appreciation for nature. These passions brought him peace and happiness and will forever be part of the memories held close by those who knew and loved him.

Friends and family are invited for visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St., Brockville on Sunday February 15th, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m. with the Funeral Service to celebrate Darryl’s life which will be held in the Chapel, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation in Darryl’s name to the Terry Fox Foundation.
