BURKE, Paul Robert Burke

Passed away at his residence in Uxbridge on January 5, 2026 at the age of 62 years.

Caring husband of Lorraine (nee Crappere), devoted father to his only child, Shannon (Kurtis) and loving Grampa to Tessa and Allie. The beloved son of the late Robert and Ann Burke (nee Cadenhead)

Paul was the beloved son of Robert and Ann Burke and grew up surrounded by a close-knit family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those early years shaped the strong family values that he carried with him throughout his life.

From a young age, Paul had a passion for hockey, playing as a goalie into his 30s. It was during that time he moved to Uxbridge, where he built his home and spent the next 33 years. Paul was a lifelong sports fan, who enjoyed playing trivia and always had a game on in the background, often watching hockey with longtime friend & neighbour Frank. Paul enjoyed spending his time with childhood best friend Jeff at their family cottage – a happy place for him from a young age.

Paul was a kind, selfless, hard working man with an open hand and open heart. He will be remembered for his warm smile, sense of humour, and gentle nature. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, and friends.

Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge and a Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.  Donations can be made in Paul’s honour to the Jumpstart Program, supporting children’s access to sports and recreation.
