BURNS, Helen (nee Rowse) – Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on September 26, 2015 at 93 years of age.

Reunited with the love of her life Jack Burns. Beloved mother of Beverly (Bob) Valliquette and Brian (Susanne) Burns. Cherished Grandmother of Christy (Robert), Christina, Cheri (Brian), Jylene (Shawn), Stephen, Chad, Jodi (Anthony) and Justin (Sigi). Cherished Gigi of Stephen Jr., Connor, Jordan, Blake, Jacob, Kinyara, Braeden, Breanna, Lily, Julian, Logan, Myla, Adrian and Jace. Dear sister of Lillian George and sister-in-law of Marg Kelly.

Waiting with open arms in heaven are her siblings Leona, Dorothy, Clifford, Patrick and Darlene. Dearly loved by her best friend Beverly Newman. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends at Lifetimes on Riverside.

Helen loved family, modelling, entertaining, dancing, singing, art, working, taking photos and shopping. She was a very creative and humorous lady and her jokes will be missed. Over her lifetime she was a ceramics teacher, a dietician, secretary and a makeup artist for many years.

If you so desire, donations to the Zachary Altenhof Scholarship Fund would be appreciated as he was a special member of her extended family.

Visitation and funeral have already been held.
