It is with deep sadness we announce Megan’s peaceful passing surrounded by those who loved her on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Mississauga General Hospital after a short illness. She was the daughter of Philip and Moya Haddad and wife of Mark Burns of Mississauga. Sister of Dean Haddad and the late Karen Harvie. Aunt of Emily Harvie, Heather Harvie, and Cade Haddad. Niece of Rev. Michael Ryan, Tim Ryan, Barry Blackburn, Dan Ryan, Calvin and Maria Haddad, and Aunt Tootsie and Michael Harrington. Daughter in-law to Gloria, and sister in-law to Patrick Burns and John Burns. There are also numerous cousins from around Canada and the USA. Megan was employed as an account executive in Mississauga for On The Go Staffing. She attended F.J. Brennan High School and later St. Clair College. Megan loved life and lived it with enthusiasm and joy. She was generous and loving to family, husband Mark and all those she enjoyed in her life. She loved the arts and was a very good amateur painter who gave away her creations as gifts to friends and family. Megan will be remembered by those who loved and cherished her. Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Tuesday, October 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Cremation has already taken place. Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery will take place on Wednesday, October 29th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Karen Harvie Memorial Scholarship at the University of Windsor or St. Clair College.
