It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Anne Burton (Drury), who passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was the devoted wife of Jay, with whom she shared 19 wonderful years.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret. She was a loving sister to Jamie (Michele) and Shona (Craig) will be fondly remembered by her nephews Cameron and Adam, niece Abby and her Aunt Betty.

She was a beloved mother to Jamie (Kim), Katie (Dylan), and adoring grandmother to Tyeson. Elizabeth treasured her lifelong friendship of over 50 years with Irena.

Beth found comfort in knowing she will be reunited with her faithful companions, Maverick and Quincy, who will be there waiting for her, tails wagging.

Elizabeth was a vibrant, intelligent woman with a deep appreciation for the joys of life. She found joy in the open road, often setting out on driving vacations with Jay that allowed her to soak in new places at her own pace. Europe held a special place in her heart, with Italy being her most beloved destination, she often said nothing could compare to eating pizza in Venice, surrounded by the charm of the canals and the warmth of the culture.

Elizabeth also loved the thrill and excitement of casinos, and her trips to Las Vegas with her dear friend Irena were filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories. Above all, Elizabeth cherished time with family, and her presence always made gatherings more special. She brought people together, and her love left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.
