Butler: John William formerly of Highgate, passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View, Sault Ste. Marie ON., on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Born in Brantford, ON., son of the late John and Lillian (Springle) Butler.

Beloved husband of the Late Marjorie Irene Butler (Fonger). Father and father-in-law of Raymond (Betty-Marie), Nancy Skillings, Lillian Clark, Ron (Jenny), Nancy, Bob, Hazel, Bernice Hunter (Bob), Barb Chesney (Ron), Betty-Joe and Brenda. Loved by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sons David and Bill and son-in-law Dave.

At John’s request there will no visitation or funeral service, cremation has taken place.
