It is with heavy hearts we announce the peacefull passing of Menola on Saturday November 22, 2025 at Nipissing Manor, she was in her 91st year.
She is the beloved wife of 70 years to William Butson. Loving mother of Jim (Marna), Wendy Gilson (Jim), and Tim (Debbie).
Cherished Nanny of Brent (Amanda)B-Jae (Kayla), Lindsay (Josh Weir), Kelly (John Henderson), Kristi (Derek Young), and Kandice
(Charlie Haden). Treasured Great Nanny to Kendrick and Paisley Weir and James Butson John Luke, Jason and Noah Henderson, Ada and Arya Young and Maddie Markewich and Jordyn Kuster.
Dear sister of Faye (Christie Pinkerton).
Sister in law of Alma Thompson (Late George), Predeceased by her parents Mildred and Fred English, and her brother Wally (Lois) and brother/sister in laws, Bob (Betty), Marion (Henry), Sybil
(Bill), Mick (Marsha), Marg (Don), Phyllis and Jannie (Jim).
Menola’s biggest treasure was time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation at Raney Funeral Chapel on Wednesday November 26, 2025 from 6-8 pm. and at the Church of Christ (Sundridge) November 27th from 12 noon until service time at 1 pm.
If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
