STARK, C. Dale Stark Obituary

STARK, C. Dale – Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Betty (nee Roszell), with whom he shared 68 years. Dear father of David Stark (Margaret) of Welland, Lorraine Staples (John) of Peterborough, Douglas Stark (Olga) of Ottawa and Lois Vanderlee (Corry) of St. Catharines.

Cherished grandfather of Richard (Christine), Kari (Ken), Douglas (Jennifer) and Michael, Katherine and Nicholas; Sergei and Maria, Kristina (David) and Stacey (James). Great-grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Dear brother of Murray (Edith) of Chatham. Predeceased by brothers Glen (Jenny) and Everett (Marie) and parents Jim and Florence Stark.

A heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff and care givers of the 3rd floor at Lookout Ridge and the 6th floor staff at the Welland Hospital.

Dale had a fulfilling career with the Ford Motor Company for many years. He enjoyed his time with friends at the Welland Curling Club and was awarded an honourary lifetime membership at the club.

In keeping with Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service will take place at the James L. Pedlar funeral home, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill, Ontario, with interment to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society.
