CAMARA, Fernanda Moura nee Camara

Passed away at her home, after a long battle with cancer, on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 56.
Beloved wife of Alvaro and loving mother of Andre and Miranda. Dear sister of Anita and and sister-in-law of Rosalina, Pedro, and Luisa. Missed also by dear friends Linda, Grace, Tania, Christina and Diane.

Fernanda was a kind soul who always had her door open for everyone. Whether to have a glass of wine or sit and enjoy some music. She touched the lives of everyone she spoke to and was always willing to give an open ear and listen. She showered all those around her with love and support constantly. She will not be forgotten, and her legacy will live through those lives she has touched and brought into this world.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the extended family, as well as to the many friends who offered care, comfort, and support during her illness. Special thanks for their kindness and presence during this difficult time.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
