CAMERON, Margaret Louise Peggy Goodwin Cameron

Peacefully, at Woodstock General Hospital, on Saturday August 30, 2025, at the age of 97 years.
Peggy’s father worked for the railroad as station master and was posted in various towns across Ontario. Peggy made lifelong friends during her moves. Her greatest influence on her for her entire life was her cousin Shirley True, until Shirley’s passing in June 2024.
Peggy’s parents’ final move was to Drumbo were she made many new friends, but one friend caught her eye a young man named Clayton Goodwin whom she married and spent many happy years together. They moved to Richwood in 1951. Peggy was very active in the Richwood area, including the Ayr News Correspondent for over 45 years and an active member of the Richwood United Church. She enjoyed curling as a member of the Ayr Curling Club, when she was no longer able to curl, she joined different Bridge groups, she loved her cards. Peggy & Clayton enjoyed many adventures in their motor home and snowmobiling.
Beloved wife to the late Clayton (1995); loved mom to the late Bill (2018) (Diane), the late Vicky Rupert (2002) (the late Keith), and Connie Awde (Bill); cherished grandma to 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Sunday September 14, 2025 from 12-2 PM. Service to follow in the chapel at 2:00PM.
