CAMPANER , Irma Bomben nee Campaner

Passed away peacefully, August 5, 2025 at the age of 93 in Windsor, ON.
Reunited with her beloved husband Pietro (2021). Dearest mother of Luciana Marier (Dan) and Laura Bomben-Grosso (Randy). Cherished Nonna of Daniela Marier-Perissinotti (Dan), Peter Marier (Jia Yu), Kristen Grosso and Luke Grosso. Dear sister of Severino (Gianna), and predeceased by Olga (Nino), Jole (Dino) and Monsignor Mario. Dear sister-in-law of Aldo Bomben (late Agnese), Norma Colussi (late Mario) and the late Giuditta Bomben. Predeceased by her parents Eliseo Campaner and Antonia Bazzana and her in-laws Sante and Virginia Bomben. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.

In her spare time, she could be found sewing and knitting, which was evident in all she made for her family. If someone needed help she was always willing to lend a hand. She loved to cook, bake and tend to her flower garden. A staple was her homemade lasagna, the recipe she passed on to her grandchildren. She was a long-time member of the St. Angela Merici Church Choir. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and family.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home-South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236), on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 9:00am-11:00am. Procession to St. Angela Merici Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
