CAMPBELL, Michael Roy Campbell

He passed peacefully at home in the arms of his beloved wife Susan and with close family and friends surrounding him. Many friends and family know and will remember Roy as a man who adored Sue and who worked hard at whatever challenges came his way. He was a faithful friend.

Roy was pre-deceased by his father, R.W. (Bob) Campbell in 1957, his mother, J.M. (Peg) Campbell in 2007 and his sister, Nancy Bennett in 2011. He is survived by the love of his life, Susan (neé Patey); his brothers, Ron (Maria) Campbell and Rob (Wendy) Campbell; many cousins, nieces and nephews from the Campbell clan and from the Patey family. Many thanks from Sue go out to her niece, Tammy (Neil), Cody (Cole), Liam and her many friends, neighbours and colleagues and Roy’s long-time friends, especially, Paul Rozell, Roy’s very close friend.

A special thank you to Dr. Peter Meyer who had been a caring and empathetic physician to Roy.At Roy’s request, there was to be no funeral or memorial service. Please do not send flowers to Sue but, rather, donate to a worthy charity in Roy’s memory.
