CAMPBELL, Stuart John Campbell

With broken hearts we share the loss of a gentle soul. Stuart John Campbell, 56, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband, and friend, slipped away after a long and courageous journey with cancer on December 21, 2025. Born on October 28, 1969, in Oakville, Ontario, his life reflected his devotion to his family.

He was gentle by nature, known for his quiet kindness and unmistakable dad-joke humour. Being a husband, father, and grandfather was the greatest joy of his life, and he loved his girls and his grandchildren deeply. He proudly served the Oakville Fire Department for 33 years, rising to the role of fire captain, a role that reflected his steady leadership and care for others.

Stuart is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his two daughters, Lexi (Isaac) and Sierra (Thomas); and his cherished grandchildren, Harrison and Henley. He is also survived by his brother, Scott Campbell, and sister-in-law, Betsy Campbell, as well as his nephew, Alex Campbell, and niece, Katie Campbell. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Peter Campbell.

A memorial service will be held to honour Stuโ€™s life on Saturday December 27, 2025 at 11:00 am at the OE Banquet Hall, 2245 Speers Road, Oakville.

An honour guard will be processing to the Memorial Service Location – Speers Road will be closed to accommodate – you are asked to be parked and seated by 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toย St. Josephโ€™s Healthcare Hamilton,ย Juravinski Hospitalย orย Camp BUCKO. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at both hospitals for their exceptional care and support.
