In Loving Memory of Edo Copone
1937 – 2025
Edo Copone, age 87, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, Ontario, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease.
Beloved husband of Marcella, Edo is lovingly remembered by his children: John C., Tony, Pina, Michael, Lilliana, and John M.
Edo was a hardworking man, known for his dedication as a truck driver and his passion for farming. He proudly worked the land, growing vegetables and raising animals to share with family, friends, and neighbors. Even after retiring due to health concerns, his warm spirit, humor and zest for life continued to shine.
He found great joy in nature walks and especially loved spending time at the family cottage, where laughter, food, and togetherness filled his days. Edo thrived in the company of loved ones and will always be remembered for his generosity, his love of life, and the joy he brought to those around him.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
