CARAPIC, Marko Carapic

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we inform our relatives, friends, and acquaintances that our son, brother, and uncle, Marko passed away on March 3rd in Toronto after a battle with an unforgiving and vicious illness.

Marko was born on September 1, 1984 in Gorazde, where he lived with his brother and parents before the war in Bosnia, surrounded by the love of his grandfather Radisa and grandfather Milija, grandmother Milosava and grandmother Darinka. The unfortunate war pushed us abroad, we came to Canada in September 1993, where Marko spent his boyhood days, attending school until his last degree at Ryerson University. Through many of his activities and jobs, a large part of his life was dancing in the folklore ensemble of the Academy of Serbian dances.

We will remember him as a person with a great and beautiful soul, always willing to lend a helping hand, to share all his knowledge and love for people. May your soul find peace, our dear Marko, you will remain in our hearts forever.

We owe immense gratitude to our relatives, friends and acquaintances who helped us thru Marko’s treatment and in these difficult moments. Those wishing to pay their respects to Marko may come to Heritage Funeral Home at 50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6 on Sunday, March 8th from 4 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.
