CAROSCIO, Filomeno Caroscio

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Filomeno at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Dear husband of the late Immacolata Caroscio for 60 years. Filomeno was a loving and cherished father of Nunzia (Rocco) and Donato (Taura). Loved and adored Nonno of Nicholas, Victoria, Matteo and Mason. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Filomeno was born on February 19, 1935 in Molinara, a small town in Italy’s Campania region. The son of the late Donato Caroscio and the late Nunzia Cirocco. Dear brother of 3 siblings, Angelina, the late Giuseppina and the late Nunzio.

In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton St. E.) on Sunday March 8, 2026 from 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (440 King St. E.) on Monday March 9, 2026 at 10 am with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
