At Hillsdale Estates Care Home, Oshawa, on Thursday June 12th at the age of 85.Ged was

born and grew up in Fleetwood, Lancashire, England, the youngest of 5 children to Ernest &

Bella Carr.

Deeply missed by his wife of 61 years, Betty (nee Postle), sons Michael & Gareth, and

Grandchildren Sebastien & Hannah.

Ged is survived by his brother James, of New York.

Ged is fondly remembered by the Delaney, Arthurs, Hodkinson & Baylis families.

Ged is deeply missed by family and friends in the United Kingdom, Spain & Australia.

Ged taught in Catholic school systems in both Canada and Australia for over 30 years.

Ged’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caring staff at

Hillsdale Estates Care Home for their exceptional care of him.

Visitation for Ged is Tuesday June 24th, 4:00 to 8:00p.m. at Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587

Highway #2, Courtice, ON. The funeral is Wednesday, June 25th, at 10:00a.m at St. Therese

Catholic Church, 3800 Courtice Rd. North, Courtice, L1E 2L5.
