KUZELJEVICH, Catherine Mary Blanche (nee CANTELON)  –

1939 – 2023

Passed away peacefully, at Etobicoke General Hospital, on June 24th.

Predeceased by her husband, George (2022).

Beloved mom to Julia and Harold Kuzeljevich (1975-1981).

Cherished “Grandlady” to Nina, Frank and Leo Marrello.

Mom graduated from University of Toronto’s Victoria College and taught high school at John F. Ross Collegiate in Guelph and Martingrove Collegiate in Etobicoke.

As she loved music, later in life mom pursued her ARCT at the Royal Conservatory of Music and then taught piano, accompanied choirs for competitions, played duets with her music groups, and volunteered at West Park Hospital’s resident music program.

Mom adored all her students and was a great teacher. Another passion was gardening. Mom had two gorgeous gardens in Toronto and up north, growing her own berries for her annual jam-making venture.

A real social butterfly, she had an abundance of friends, and the house and cottage were always full.

Her last few years were spent at Kipling Acres Long Term Care, and the family is grateful for the compassionate care she received there, as well as at Etobicoke General during her last days. Thanks also to our friends and family for all your support.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 1 p.m.
