CECCHINI, Vittorio Armando Pietro Cecchini

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vittorio “Victor” Armando Pietro Cecchini on Tuesday March 10, 2026, in Sarnia, Ontario, at the age of 69. Born in Windsor, Ontario to Jeannine (Roy) Morphew, Vic built a life centered around family and friendship. Vic is lovingly remembered by Karen Cecchini and their children Travis, Alysha (Jon), and Alannah (Mack). Devoted Papa, he will be greatly missed by his grand children – Lena, Rogan, Miller, and Conrad. Vic is survived by his mother Jeannine (Roy) Morphew (the late Robert Morphew) and was a loving brother to the late Deena (Richard), Michelle (Rory), Chris (Brenda), Kevin, and Kim (Mike). Vic resided in the Lake Valley Grove Sunnidale community with the greatest friends he considered family, he will be deeply missed. Vic was happiest surrounded by family and friends, always with a relatable story or a quick joke. Vic’s heart truly belonged to his family, his children will forever miss his lighthearted humour and his reassurance that everything will always work out the way it’s supposed to. Vic enjoyed life with heart, he was truly one of a kind. Vic worked many years at Alliance Fabricating, when he retired he was able to do what he loved most – taking in the sunsets, fishing on his boat, golfing, touring on his golf cart, playing darts, renovating homes and properties, cooking and enjoying a cold one. His energy, laughter and unmistakable presence left a lasting impression wherever he went. Though our hearts are shattered, we find comfort in knowing he’s found peace and is finally home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home – London Line Chapel, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
