LAWLESS, Cecil Bernard ‘Jim’ – (Born Barbados January 21, 1926 – Deceased Canada October 4, 2015)

Sadly passed away at the age of 89 at the Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

Dear husband of 30 years to Kathleen (nee Ward) and previously to Nesta (nee Gilkes).  Cherished father to Mary (Charles) Bourne, Donald (Wendy) Lawless, Yvette (Noel) Greenidge, and Angela Diane (Alex) Salanki. Loving grandfather of four and great grandfather of two.

Jim is predeceased by his daughter Mary (November, 2014), his two brothers Tony and David, and by his parents Samuel and Kathleen “Dolly” Lawless.

Jim was a proud member of several Masonic Lodges including Brant Lodge No. 663, Albion Lodge No 196 English Constitution and served as Deputy District Director, Barbados and Eastern Caribbean EC.

Arrangements entrusted to Smith’s funeral home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, Ontario. Cremation is to take place.  A Service of Remembrance will be at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 1371 Elgin Street, Burlington on Saturday October 10th at 1:30 PM.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Salvation Army in memory of Jim would be appreciated by the family.
