JOHNSON, Cecil Peel Johnson, Obituary
JOHNSON, Cecil Peel – February 28, 1942 – October 10, 2015
After a courageous battle with cancer, Cecil passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital, with his devoted wife by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife Hristiana, daughters Nicole and Melissa, son Doug and 9 grandchildren and his step son and daughter.
We will miss our Cecil, a happy, unique, outgoing man, who lived his life to the fullest.
As friend of Bill Wilson he brightened so many people’s lives. Born in Nova Scotia he was working in the sea food business and loved every aspect of life of the Maritimes! In Ontario he was devoted to his family and a BBQ was his favourite thing! He brought joy to our lives! He loved horses and was associated with many farms in the area. His customers were friends too.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 17, at 11 a.m. in Battlefield House Museum, 77 King Street West, Stoney Creek, Ontario.
Special thanks to the doctors, nursing staff and extended service providers at Juravinski, Hamilton General and St. Peter’s Hospitals.
