CHADWICK, Lana Chadwick
November 14, 1941 - December 26, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lana Chadwick (née Turner), who died peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, in her 85th year. Lana was the devoted wife of Brian Chadwick for almost 65 years; a bond built on love and countless shared memories. She was a loving mother to Cathie Puckering and Steve Chadwick (Véronique). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Stacey (Dave), Katie (Carlos), Kendra (Ethan), and Samuel, and her great-grandchildren, Sadie, Jane, and Camila. Born on November 14, 1941, Lana was the beloved daughter of the late George and Bertha Turner, and step-daughter of the late Florence Sarah Turner. She was also pre-deceased by her dear sister, Joan, and her sister-in-law, Dianne.
Lana lived a full and vibrant life; she proudly co-owned Chadwick’s Appliances with her husband, and following her retirement, enjoyed spending time with family in Northern Ontario and vacationing in sunny Florida. An avid line dancer, Lana brought energy and enthusiasm to the dance floor, making many wonderful friends along the way. Her spirited nature, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Age Care Burlington (Spencer Creek) for their compassionate care, and a special thank you to her long-time friend, Dian Congdon, for her unwavering support and kindness during Lana’s time at Age Care.
Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, January 4, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. A Celebration of Lana’s Life will be held at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
