CHALMERS, Merilyn Steen Chalmers

Chalmers, Merilyn Steen (nee Lewis) passed away peacefully at the Marotta Family Hospital, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the age of 90 years.

Beloved wife for 51 years, of the late William (2002). Loving mother of John (Virginia). Predeceased by her children Linda and Tom. Mother-in-law of Melodie. Proud Grandma of Shawn, Kyle, Ian, Joshua, Jordan, Zachary, Aiden and Connor and great-grandchildren Caleb, Tessa, Felix, Kane, Noelle, Eliott and Grayson. Predeceased by her sister Yvonne. Sister-in-law of Roger. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Merilyn was a longtime member of Christ Church McNab. She liked swimming, gardening, shopping and loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays and her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

The family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at McNab Cemetery.
