CHAREST, Gilbert Alphonse Charest

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday September 3, 2025, at Sumac Lodge, Gilbert Alphonse Charest passed away at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Minka (2005). Loving father of John Charest and Michelle (Sean) Blais. Cherished grandfather of Crystal, Olivia, and Cole Blais. Gilbert was a wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews who he loved greatly. He was predeceased by his brother Roland and sister Mary Anne and by many aunts, uncles, and friends. Gilbert owned Holiday Juice/ Ever Fresh Juice for over 34 years with Minka. He was known to many as “Juice Man Gil”. Cremation has taken place. An Open House to celebrate Gilbert’s life will be held at the Smith Family Centre (in front of Smith Funeral Home), 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimers Society of Sarnia Lambton .
