Boyd CharlesBOYD, Charles (Chuck) Thomas –  November 30, 1947 – October 9, 2015

Passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015, in his 68th year, of pancreatic cancer – he is now at peace.

Husband and partner to Mary in a lifetime of adventures (46 years), father of three strong, independent daughters Chantel (James), Kerri and Renee and devoted Papa of Jonah and Isabella. Brother of Freda (Mike), Marie (Roy) and Roger, predeceased by Robin, Bill and Jack. Brother-in-law to John and Lynn, uncle to many nieces and nephews, and fishing partner to Joe.

Chuck left us far too early, but led a life of few regrets. Maybe you knew Chuck as an IBEW electrician, Brantford Water Superintendent (23 years), Sunday School Teacher or Hockey Coach or perhaps as a Hereford Cattleman, Past-President of the Rockton Fair, founding father of the Muskie Odyssey or with the Westover Store Chuckwagon. No matter how you met Chuck, you met the same man and you know why we love him so much.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at STRABANE UNITED CHURCH, 1565 Brock Rd., Hamilton (at 8th Con West) on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service, with reception to follow.

Memorial donations may be made to: Adopt a Muskie Canada, Westover Women’s Institute, Strabane United Church, Westover Baptist Church or Carpenter Hospice.
