CHODENSKI, George Chodenski

He is now reunited with his wife Ann, his children George (Denise), Kathie Morrish (David), and Carol Chodenski. He is also predeceased by his parents Alec and Anna Chodenski, as well as many siblings from the Ukraine.

Dear grandfather of Shawn Morrish (Sophie), April Degeit (Eric), Sarah Gauthier (Adam), and Adam Chodenski (Carrington). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

As a very young man, George came to Canada from the Ukraine with only the clothes on his back and a dream of a peaceful life. Throughout his life, he maintained traditional Ukrainian values with food and drinks. He had a passion for picking mushrooms and fishing. He enjoyed watching western movies as well as wrestling. He was always grateful for his simple and peaceful life remaining happy for what he had.

A special thank you to the nurses, doctors and personal support warders at Extendicare for their excellent services.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
