Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday November 27, 2025. Marlene (nee Potter), of Burgessville, in her 79th year. Beloved Wife of Neil Chorpitta for 27 years. Loving Mom of Maureen Borghoff (Brian), Kris (Tiffany) Borghoff and Beth (Dave) Stapleton. Dear Grandma of Sophie, Kasem, Willow, Dayton, Gage, Jasmine, Bennett, Will, Olivia and great-grandma of Liam, Charlie and Teddy. Dear Sister of Judy Bruyn and Neil Potter. Marlene will be fondly remembered by her nieces; Lora and Jen and her family and friends.

A simple get-together to honour Marlene’s memory will be held at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Sunday December 7, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Marlene’s memory may be made directly to the Sakura House or the Burford Food Bank.
