It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Christie (nee Heayn) announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 95. Joan, beloved wife of the late Mac Christie. Cherished daughter of the late Norman and Madeleine Heayn. Loved mother of Lynne and her husband Peter Watson, and Doug Christie and his wife Anne Marie. Devoted grandmother of Bobbi and Katelynne. Dear sister of Sandra MacDonald (late Reg), Donna Hawe (late Ross), and Paul Heayn (Carol). Predeceased by her sisters Dawne Howey (late Barry), and Lynda Heayn. Joan will be missed by several nieces and nephews.

The family of Joan Christie will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, October 29^th from 2 – 6 p.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
