CHURCHILL, Robert Churchill

On June 6, 2025, Robert John (Bob) Churchill, 77, of London, Ontario chose to peacefully pass away at home surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was the first of eight children born to Bob and Stella Churchill in Windsor, Ontario on December 20, 1947. He achieved his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Windsor University in 1970. Many friendships have endured over the past 55 years, especially with his best buddy, Glenn.

A loyal “anything Detroit” sports fan, Bob loved a good joke, a game of golf followed by a cold beer—but most of all, he was devoted to his family. To know Bob was to love him. His easy smile and kind heart will be missed by many, especially his wife and best friend of 60 years, Marylyn (Clarke), daughters Jennifer (Steve), Pamela (Tim), Stephanie (Abraham), and his adored grandgirls Kamryn, Mikaela, Olivia, and Freya.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mary Jenkins for her exceptional care throughout Bob’s 13-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, and to Dr. J. McLean who helped Bob achieve a peaceful and dignified final rest.

Cremation has taken place, and Bob’s life will be celebrated privately as per his wishes. The family invites all to perform an act of kindness in Bob’s memory.
