With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Michelina Ciccone affectionately known as Molly, on May 28, 2025, at the age of 52. Surrounded by her devoted family, she bravely fought a hard battle with cancer with grace and resilience.

Michelina was a cherished mother to Josephine and Anthony, now reunited with her beloved husband, Tony. She was the treasured daughter of Rocco and Serafina Mastrangelo and will be deeply missed by her loving sisters, Rosie (Bob) and Elena (Mike). She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Giuseppina, and sister-in-law, Maria (Marco). Her dear nephews and niece—Patrick, Nicholas, Adam, and Kiki—all held a special place in her heart.

Michelina’s warmth extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many. She leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles across the world, including Zia Maria (Angelo) and Zio Tony (Angela), whose unwavering support meant so much to her. She shared a strong bond with her cousins who are like sisters Rose, Pina, Angie, Elia, also Michelina and Rocco. She held a profound connection with Pina Burdo, who stood by her side throughout her journey. Michelina is now reunited with her late uncle, Zio Michele, who always held a special place in her heart.

Michelina lived life with kindness and warmth, embracing every moment with joy. She had a deep love for her ‘beautiful girl,’ Myla, who brought her immense happiness. She found solace in cooking, filling her home with the rich aromas of her lovingly prepared dishes. Music and dance uplifted her spirit, as did musicals—especially Grease & Mama Mia, which she adored for its energy and charm. Known for her love of all things that sparkled, Michelina’s radiance was not just in her passion for glitter but in the way she brightened every space she entered.

Her presence in the lives of her family and friends will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation for Michelina will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Holy Family Parish, 91 Ribblesdale Dr, Whitby, Ontario L1N 6Z3. Entombment will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R 3L4.
