CLARK, Patricia Louise Morrison Clark
August 30, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Trish, in the early hours of August 30th at the Kingston General Hospital after a brain aneurysm at home, in her 73rd year of life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Trish was married to Reverend John Morrison for 56 years. She is survived by her daughter Tina (D’Arcy) Nordick of Toronto, and three grandsons, Ronan, Owen and Evan; her daughter Kimberly (Alain) Bolduc of Barrhaven, and three step-grandsons Ryan, Stephen and Jamie; her brother Michael Clark, and her sister Dianne Clark (Doug Henderson); her brothers-in-law Harold ‘Hunky’ (the late Maggie) Morrison of Lake Echo, NS., Darrell (Donna) Vincent of Fletcher Lake, NS., Craig Vincent of Waverly, NS., Jeffery (Margaret) Morrison of Fall River, NS., and mother-in-law Maureen Wilson of Dartmouth NS., plus several nieces and nephews, and her precious dog Nova. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Marjorie (Sayers), and brothers Gerald, Raymond, Douglas and Brian.
Trish was a long-time employee of Health Canada, and after retirement settled down to her quilting, sewing and painting. In her early years Trish was a member of the military wives shooting club as a skilled marksman. She was active in her church and community choir, as well as director for the children’s choirs on many military bases. She was a member of the Orleans Red Hat’s Society, where she was affectionately known as Poppy. She loved spending time with, and had an unending love, for all her family members and always enjoyed a good laugh. She loved the opportunities, over the years, to spend countless hours volunteering as an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, her community, and her various churches.
Trish lived life on her terms, and to the fullest extent that she wanted. Her deep faith in Christ enabled her to conquer the many mountains she encountered in her life, and as a member of the St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Kingston, with her faith, as Jesus said, was able to move them.
We will miss her honesty, quick wit, and her infectious laugh.
A Celebration of Life to assist Trish on her final journey will be conducted at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 4333 Bath Road, Kingston on Saturday, September 20th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This will be followed by a private family inurnment service in the Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter’s Anglican Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
