GOODYEAR, Clifford Arthur – (September 23, 1948 – October 5, 2015) Clifford Arthur Goodyear, P. Eng, former Director of Real Property, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, passed away on October 5th, 2015 at the Ottawa General Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. He died with courage after a fierce battle with pancreas cancer and a sudden stroke.

Leaving to mourn, his devoted wife Betty who never left his side, son Greg, daughter Susan (Geoff) and grandchildren Maria and James.

Also grieving his loss, his mother Minnie Goodyear, brothers Graham (Elaine) and Kevin (Bonnie), sisters Debbie Pittman (Tim) and Karen Davis, sisters-in-law Cathy Weymouth and Patty Spurrell (Mike), brother-in-law Kevin Sullivan (Lynn), nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

His remains will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held between 6:00 and 8:00pm at the Nepean Sailing Club in Dick Bell Park on October 7th. A second celebration of life will be held in St. John’s, Newfoundland at a later date.
