With profound love and heavy hearts, we share that our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Barbara Cohen, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at the age of 82 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Barbara was devoted to her husband Frank of 62 years; children, Mark (Tracie), Stuart, and Shannon (Michael); and grandchildren Iris, Charlie, Leif, and Hallie. She loved to dance, travel, and try new things. Caring for dogs was a lifelong passion. Essentially, she loved life.

At the onset of her difficult illness, she chose to fight, and she fought hard. Yet throughout, her primary concern was to shield her family and to lessen the burden of her illness on them. We are grateful to the incredible medical team at Princess Margaret for their compassionate care.
