COLLINS, Jackie Collins

She passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 15, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 87.

Beloved wife of the late Dave Collins for over 65 wonderful years. Loving mother of Debbie Fischer, Rick Collins (Ling-Yue), and Lisa Kellington (John). Cherished Grammie of David, Danton (Michelle), Kylie (Rich), and Kai. Jackie will also be dearly missed by her fur-grandbabies Saddie and Ohana.

Jackie valued her friendships with the wonderful neighbours she had met over her years in the Glens, at Grandview Resort, and Grand Vista apartments. Her passion for curling has transcended to her children and grandchildren in their love of curling. She loved volunteering and being involved in many social events at the apartment, including her daily fitness group. Jackie led a daily aquafit group and enjoyed daily golf cart drives with Saddie as her co-pilot at the trailer.

Visitation will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME on Thursday December 18, 2025 from 6pm – 8pm. Memorial Service to take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday December 19th at 1pm. Interment of cremated remains to follow at Oshawa Union Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held at 1320 Benson Street, Oshawa in the Common Room immediately following the interment service. Parking is available at the north-east corner of the Cineplex Theatres at the corner of Taunton and Benson. Follow the north sidewalk to the backside of the building to the common room entrance.
